Win a Wrapped Cardigan by Seamly.co – a versatile, traveler-friendly piece made with surplus fabrics.
I tend to get cold when I fly, especially on long international flights. The solution has long been traveling with a scarf – it keeps me warm when needed, is easy to store, and won’t wrinkle when stuffed in a carry-on. Now my other go-to travel accessory – with similar qualities – is the Wrapped Cardigan by Seamly.co.
This Colorado-based company makes eco-friendly and convertible pieces using surplus fabrics. I was introduced to them by a traveling friend and quickly became a fan. Then I got to test the cardigan on my recent trip to India, which included several airport layovers and one chilly morning in London. It worked just as well as scarves, but offered even more versatility.
The cardigan can be worn three ways: like a sweater (over a mini dress, leggings, or jeans), as a belted dress, or as a wrap dress held together with a broach or safety pin (see all the looks here). It’s made with rayon/Lycra fabric, which makes it soft, comfortable, and machine washable. There are also hidden pockets to hold small items.
