Birds along the shore in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, spotted during an afternoon walk
I remember three things from my strolls along the Atlantic coastline in Myrtle Beach: the impressive length of the beach, several piers, and birds. Lots of them.
The birds seemed accustomed to the presence of humans, yet not completely trusting. I often saw them walk away when people approached, as if they didn’t want to be disturbed. Luckily, they weren’t paying much attention to me when I took out my camera.

Ahh, I love this shot. I mean I always love everything you photograph, but this one could be my new favorite. Love the way the birds on the ground are lined up and their shadows too. It’s like organization on the ground, chaos in the air!
